Technical Breakthrough - Internal Hole Deburring: Application of TC206IV Manual B-Axis in Connector (Oil-Cooled Components) Machining
Burr Elimination of Oil Cooling Connectors.
Oil cooling connectors tend to develop significant burrs inside the inner bore during machining due to the nature of the production process . This has become a persistent challenge for many enterprises looking to improve product quality and boost production efficiency . Most clients rely on an automatic B-axis to remove these burrs . However , we achieve the same level of efficiency while reducing production costs by utilizing a manual B-axis for burr elimination .
The adoption of the TC206IV manual B-axis process equipment has significantly improved both part consistency and deburring effectiveness , thereby increasing the product yield rate .
As shown in the part , the process begins with machining the inner bore , followed by the outer diameter to establish the external profile . Subsequently , an inclined circular groove is milled . After milling , burrs often adhere to the partIs surface . While performing a second bore and re-milling can remove most of these burrs , complete elimination is not guaranteed . For thorough deburring , an automatic B-axis must be used to mount a lollipop end mill and reposition it at the correct angle for chamfering .
Considering cost concerns for our clients , we have adjusted the deburring process to eliminate the need for automatic B-axis equipment . By utilizing a manual B-axis to fix the angle of the inclined circular groove and employing an extended-reach lollipop end mill for reverse diagonal deburring , we achieve effective burr removal .

This process is particularly suitable for precision mechanical components and parts with stringent appearance requirements .
